This course is aimed at Managers, Supervisors and Trainers who impart information to individuals or groups. Whilst the basics of presenting are revisited – eye contact, body language, audience physiology the main emphasis is placed on appealing to the different learning preferences people have including recall during and after learning and memory review techniques.
Delegates will learn about presenting versus workshops, facilitating brainstorming, planning each module (i.e. how long, content, visual aids, handouts, etc.), dealing with sceptical or unwilling participants, maintaining the group interest, motivating the team through involvement, handling questions, designing and presenting with visual aids, designing and controlling room layout. Each delegate will be given several opportunities to present. A progressive series of presentations will be videoed and delegates will each receive personalised and confidential coaching.
